The program stated that today's skinheads are trying to gain success by merging with society, making us "more of a threat." We feel that our club is not the same as skinhead organizations of the past. That we are taking major strides to break this negative stigma.

KSS Featured in National Geographic Documentary

This filming went under much discussion and consideration before undertaking. We had previously had a strict “no media” policy when we were approached about this documentary. Being that it is National Geographic, we considered it that we would have a better chance of getting our personal voice and image out without as much manipulative editing.

We approached this with a positive mindset. If we act as ourselves and we do not give them anything to degrade us with, that some good MUST shine through on our behalf OR they will cut our segment out in its entirety. We hope that if our contribution to this film changes the perspective of only a few people, we have accomplished a great feat. - KSS Doug

In honor of the great European explorer Leif Ericson’s discovery of North America, several dozen Nationalists gathered in downtown Philadelphia to pay tribute to his noble & historic voyage. Meeting in a small gazebo set high above the picturesque boat house row section of Philadelphia, we arrived to find that the park we had chosen to meet at had been vandalized by “anti-racists”, Unable to confront us physically in the midst of Philadelphia. A city once thought to of had a strong “anti-racist” presence and is the current home to Daryle Lamont Jenkins of the One Peoples Project, was stray painted overnight by "anti-racists" who wanted to remain "safe". The obscenities that had been spray painted on a gazebo did nothing but make for some great laughs and photo opportunities. We continued on our day with a smile knowing that somewhere out there were people with some very hurt feelings because we had taken to the streets.

As time rolled on and we neared the closing time for our meeting point it came to our attention that a white SUV with tinted windows, occupied by two black males were using video surveillance equipment to record our actions from a distance. Equipped with our own video equipment two of us approached the vehicle, causing them to speed off before we had a chance to confront them. Whether they were law enforcement agents or members of some type of leftist outfit we are unsure, be we did manage to capture them and their vehicle on film, along with their quick departure.

As 3 o’clock came and gone we gathered our friends for a brief walk along Kelly Dr. to the beautiful Viking Statue of Thorfinn Karlsefni, whose son Snorri Karlsefni is thought to of been the first recorded European born on American soil. Over 1000 years ago!

Following the laying of a wreath fitted with a ribbon of the adopted Vinlandic colors (green and black), several speakers took turns reciting the history of Leif Ericson's historic voyage. Along with poems, fascinating tales of the Vikings encounters with Indians, and even the sagas of Thorfinn and his son Snorri were told. It was a very beautiful and informative gathering indeed.

After returning to our vehicles we proceeded to an enormous stone pavilion set in the background of the American Swedish Museum for a night of acoustic Viking & Celtic folk music. (http://www.americanswedish.org)

First up was Paul, the bassist of now defunct hardcore band Teardown. An extremely talented musician, Paul kicked the night off with some classic pieces using his fiddle, and even spicing things up with a brief rendition Slayers “raining blood”. Quickly moving on to the flute and the acoustic guitar Paul definitely managed to warm up the night.

Next up was the much and always requested efforts of George, lead guitarist and vocalist of WotanOrden. As usual he got the crowd going, tapping and clapping along to everyone’s favorite Celtic tunes, a definite crowd pleaser. He was even joined in by Tank of Empire Falls and the McBastards for a rendition of Wild Rover, which got everyone clapping and singing together.

And finally wrapping up the night was the newest band out of Pennsylvania, The McBastards, a group with various corroborators dedicated to classic Irish music and having a good laugh. Playing from the heart these guys kept the night going strong with many a good songs and some classics from the late Ian Stuart. All and all it was an excellent day, beautiful weather, good friends and a big attendance for a great cause. We’d like to thank everyone that came out to contribute their support. This is definitely something that we’ll be doing next year on a much larger scale. So keep your eyes open for next year's Leif Ericson celebration!

With a few hundred fliers, a few dozen cds on hand and some time to kill on a typical Friday night, members of the KSS and friends set out to a local hardcore show in the N.E section of Philadelphia. Dominated by white youths the show proved to be an excellent environment to talk with younger people about the problems taking place in our schools and throughout our communities. Without a single negative response we were approached throughout the night by numerous kids asking for more literature and information. Many of them whom had recently been attacked by blacks and various non-white gangs in their very own neighborhoods, which has become a common occurrence through out the North East.

The most notable part of the night was when we were approached by a teenager that had previously seen one of our fliers being circulated in his high school. Apparently after one of our street actions a student from his school had removed one of our fliers and brought it to school to proudly display to the rest of the kids. Even more note worthy was the fact that he gave the flier to one of his teachers who proceeded to use it and its contents, “North Philly: Coming to a Neighborhood Near You”, as a point of discussion on the topic of White Flight. With the end result of the teacher agreeing with our message and even approving of it to the entire class, this one piece of paper did more than earned its worth. An enormous amount of our respect goes out to that brave individual, whoever he or she is and to that teacher who truly understands the importance of guiding our youth towards the right path.

This is where it all starts; by educating our communities, standing together and speaking out against the destructive elements that destroy our neighborhoods one street at a time. This is the only way to defend our neighborhoods and make them safe again. Moving away and ignoring it will only prolong the inevitable, and violence will not stop or deter them. Education and Unity is the key, it is the only solution.

The Philadelphia chapter of K.S.S. and local supporters organized a family picnic in a local park. Over 3 dozen people were in attendance for the cookout. Many people brought the entire family for the afternoon out. Good food, friends and music to kick off the day. Later in the afternoon, several picnic goers put on some boxing gloves, and wore mouth guards, to have a little fun. Several short bouts of friends occurred having no real injuries other that the typical bruised eye or lip, or maybe even ego.

Following the picnic was a small private concert that was scheduled at a local Pub. The concert was set up on very short notice in addition to the earlier picnic which had been planned much further in advance.

Blood Order Company was first and they are getting really good. I anticipate hearing the upcoming release, on Final Stand Records. Next to perform was Absolute Terror, who are new and did have some errors that happen when you are new, but overall has some great potential to be really tight shit.

Empire Falls who was actually in town this weekend practicing, since half of the members are from PA, asked to be included on the line-up. What can you say about EF that hasn’t been said before, they always are a crowd pleaser and last night was no exception. Special guests Fear Rains Down were up next. FRD was in the US recording some new material for some upcoming releases and asked to have a small show set up in the Philly area in their honor. FRD destroyed the place! Everyone went crazy and was dancing in the small pub. The set was excellent and the band played a handful of new songs, to give people a taste of the new releases. Thank you to our German friends for sharing such an awesome night here with everyone.

After FRD, the crowd cheered George of Wotanorden to do a small set. George got up and played a few of songs and an great cover of The Misfits’ song, “Skulls.”

The entire day was great and a good time was had by all. Thanks again to the Philly K.S.S. for throwing such a great day of events. Thank you again to Fear Rains Down for giving everyone a great performance.

Harrisburg

Labor Day weekend, Voice of the People USA organized an anti-Illegal Immigration rally at the steps of our state capitol. A large group of supporters were in attendance for this event. Over 50 fellow White Nationalists attended, including members of Stormfront, Newsnet14, Maryland Skinheads, Aryan Nations, and other KSS supporters. Daryle Lamont Jenkins of One Peoples Project was present with about a half dozen people in protest of the rally. Jenkins, of the 500 block of S. 49th St. Phila., was quite the joke for many, as several people posed with Jenkins in humorous photos. Even event organizer Daniel Smeriglio, Voice of the People USA, took a moment to poke a few shots at Jenkins and his motley crew. The rally went excellent and all in attendance had no problems of any sorts. Everyone proceeded to a off-site location for food and drink afterwards. It was great to meet new people and share an exciting afternoon together.

Camden, NJ

On Wednesday, several members of Keystone State Skinheads and supporters of Newsnet14 met at the Ozzfest rock concert in Camden, NJ for an evening of activism and fun. We were supplied with over 2000 Aryanwear stickers and also hundreds of flyers and promotional CDs.

Before we even made it to the gates, we made our way through the hundreds of fans still in the parking lots and began our task of distributing the information. Once we arrived at the gates we organized the dozen of us and got ready to do our best to distribute the huge amount of stickers and flyers to the crowd. The venue was packed with about 20,000 heavy metal fans in various states of enibriation.

We were greeted with an overall very positive response from the crowd. Whether we were given a genuine, “this is cool” or a shout of “white power”, we felt like we were making a positive difference by re-enforcing people’s basic beliefs which are ignored by the mainstream media. We only noticed about 2 negative responses. That is less that .1%!!! The response that made me feel the best was when I got to talk to a young person for a few minutes. I had the chance to explain to him that we weren’t crazed ‘haters’ there with plans for world domination. We had some websites where he could go to and feel free to read opinions and news that weren’t present in the controlled media. He could go to our forums and discuss race ‘without getting into trouble’ as he put it. He told me that he was going to a college with a largely Jewish student body. He knew that there was something different about them but in the mainstream media he was unable to find out the honest differences between us. This young man appeared to be particularly bright, so I am sure he will continue his quest for knowledge with a few visits to our sites. I hope that with our hard work he finds them to be informative and professional and keeps us as a regular news source.

Now for the best part, our computer servers have been working overtime all day today to handle the increased traffic generated by our activism. The KSS forum has had a few more members join up just in the first few hours of Thursday and the Newsnet14 and Aryanwear pages have been super-busy all day with new traffic.

If you want a better future for us, if you are serious about making a difference, and if you have some dedication to your race, you must start doing this kind of activity on a regular basis. We cannot expect anything to change just by internet bravado and tough talk among friends. We have to go out “where the rubber meets the road” and start doing basic grass roots activism to get the word out to people that regular, sane people are sick of this multicultural hell and we are standing up and doing something. We are a force to be reckoned with and we are dead set on making a change no matter what is required from us.

The best part is that we didn’t even have a tough battle. The people liked us and we had many great responses. There is no reason why this can’t be done on every stop of every major tour. We have done this so far for a couple of summers for not only the Ozzfest, but also the Vans Warped tour, Sounds of the Underground, Family Values tour and Slayer concerts.

We need people to step up, get serious and GET ACTIVE!!!

On August 11th, KSS threw another great show. This show featured several newer bands from the area. Blue Collared Saints, Absolute Terror, Blood Order Company and veterans Empire Falls all played great sets. The headliner this night was death metal band Argoslent. One thing I noticed about the people attending the show was that many of them weren`t skinheads. KSS is doing a great job at attracting people from all backgrounds to their shows and for that I commend them.

The K.S.S. would like thank everyone who attended our 6th annual Forth of July picnic. The afternoon was filled with plenty of homemade food, children playing, and cheerful company. This has become quite the event for the beginning of each summer, and this year was no different. It was great to see many new faces for the festivities.

One thing has become noticeable, there has definitely been a boom in the recent additions to our friends and families with the blessing of children. To each and every proud parent out there, thank you. We wish you and your families the best.

Last but not least, thank you again to the men and women for whom we celebrate this national holiday.
